 Kelley Hearn, owner of Chaparral Custom Cabinetry, has been successfully building custom cabinets and furniture for residents of the Hill Country since 1994. As a child growing up in the Northside of San Antonio, Kelley became fascinated with the new housing developments of his neighborhood, Harmony Hills. Years later he was back in school at UTSA with plans to get a degree in finance for a strong background to own his own business. After graduating, a friend who was building cabinets in his garage asked Kelley if he would like to help. Kelley took to it immediately and decided to start his own custom cabinetry company. His first job was working in his friend’s 700 square foot garage!
As Kelley was building his business, the general building industry was beginning to boom. The demand for custom homes in Boerne and in the Hill Country was skyrocketing. Being in the right place at the right time, Kelley’s custom cabinetry business boomed right along with the market. With his exceptional customer service and quality craftsmanship, Chaparral developed relationships with a handful of builders who now use him exclusively.
Today, Chaparral employs craftsmen that enjoy a challenge; they rise to the occasion when a builder or homeowner asks for anything extremely custom or specific. Chaparral Custom Cabinetry is located in the Business Park North in Boerne, Texas where they live and work by Kelley’s own personal motto, “always give the customer more than they expect.”
